Tantalum is a rare, hard, bluish grey, metal that is hypoallergenic and corrosion-resistant. It has attractive colour and nice heft. Tantalum was named after the Greek mythological character Tantalus, who was famous for his strength and resistance. 
Our tantalum has been officially tested by the Sheffield Assay Office and confirmed as 99.9% pure metal.
